The second issue of Urunana rw’Abarezi - the magazine on Professional Learning Networks for School Leaders - focuses on parental involvement in education.

It is generally believed that teachers’ and head teachers’ play is a determining role in the development of quality education. However, when it comes to students learning achievements, one cannot underestimate the great impact of parents’ role and the local community engagement. This is why ‘parental involvement’ is the main theme of this issue of Urunana rw’Abarezi magazine.

The magazine features articles that offer interesting examples of parental and community involvement in our Rwanda. It also gives the opportunity to hear from valued educational partners on this very theme.
